3. Allergies and special requests

If you choose to communicate a food allergy or health information for the organisation of your meal, this data is used only to prepare for your arrival and adapt the service, under the conditions provided for in Article 9 of the GDPR, particularly on the basis of your explicit consent when necessary. It is not used for advertising purposes and must be deleted as soon as it is no longer useful for the service, subject to any specific legal obligation.

4. Reservations, gift vouchers and payments via Zenchef

To book a table or purchase a gift voucher, the site redirects to Zenchef processes. The data entered may include identity, contact details, reservation date and terms, specific requests and, for gift vouchers, purchase or beneficiary information.

Zenchef and its potential payment providers intervene within the limits of the services used. When a bank guarantee, deposit or online payment is requested, card information is processed by the relevant payment provider. The restaurant is not intended to retain the card’s visual cryptogram. Rules relating to payment and cancellations are set out in the terms displayed before validation.

5. Recipients and service providers

Information is accessible, to the extent necessary for their duties, to the authorised team of RESTAURANT LE MOULIN as well as to the following service providers:

  • Zenchef: management of table reservations and gift vouchers; payment providers used by this service, depending on the operations.
  • OVH SAS: website hosting.
  • AgenciWeb / Mickaël Teingnier: website development, integration and technical maintenance, only if data access is necessary.
  • Providers responsible, where applicable, for technical tools, traffic monitoring and trackers activated on the site. Google Tag Manager may be used for tag triggering and management; the nature of the tags triggered depends on the services activated on the site.
  • Administrative or judicial authorities when provided for by regulations.

These parties act within the limits of their respective roles and, when required, within the framework of contractual confidentiality and security commitments. We do not sell your personal data.

6. Data location and transfers

The host and site providers, including Zenchef, may use separate infrastructures or subcontractors. In the event of data transfer outside the European Economic Area, this must be based on a guarantee compliant with the GDPR (adequacy decision, standard contractual clauses and, if necessary, supplementary measures). The countries and specific arrangements for each service used depend on their configuration and must be verified with the providers.

7. Cookies and other trackers

The site may use cookies necessary for its operation, to remember privacy choices, as well as, depending on the actual configuration, audience measurement or communication trackers. Non-strictly necessary trackers should only be placed or read after consent has been obtained when required.

The cookie choice mechanism must allow non-essential trackers to be accepted or refused just as easily, to customise choices and to withdraw consent at any time. As a good practice, choices can be retained for six months. Simple browser settings do not replace a consent mechanism when it is mandatory.

Access to cookie management

The list of trackers, their purpose and their retention period must correspond to the cookies actually used. The details of the trackers depend on the services activated during your visit and the choices made in the cookie management system.

8. Security and retention period

We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to limit unauthorised access, loss, disclosure or alteration of data (access limited according to functions, system security measures, protection of exchanges and supervision of service providers). Data is only retained for the period necessary for its purpose, then deleted or archived in a restricted manner when a legal obligation or the defence of rights justifies it.

In the event of a data breach, notifications to the CNIL and information to the data subjects are carried out when the legal conditions are met.

9. Your rights regarding your data

Under the conditions provided for by regulations, you have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, objection, particularly to commercial prospecting, and data portability. You can withdraw your consent at any time when processing is based on it, without affecting its lawfulness prior to withdrawal. You can also define directives regarding the fate of your personal data after your death.

To exercise your rights, contact lemoulin@marne-nature.com or RESTAURANT LE MOULIN – Données personnelles, 1 chemin de Quincangrogne, 77144 Montévrain. We will respond within one month of receiving the request; this period may be extended by two months when the complexity or number of requests justifies it, by informing you of the reasons within the initial period. Proof of identity is only requested if there is reasonable doubt about your identity.

10. Complaint to the CNIL

If you believe your rights have not been respected, you can lodge a complaint with the Commission nationale de l’informatique et des libertés (CNIL): www.cnil.fr – 3 place de Fontenoy, TSA 80715, 75334 Paris Cedex 07.

11. Policy update

This policy may be updated to reflect changes in the restaurant’s services, providers and applicable rules. The updated version is available on Le Moulin’s website.
